this book is a typographic list of different types of dreams, from children’s dreams to daydreaming, up until nightmares, utilizing six different papers across the six chapters, ranging from light and transparent to thick and dark. the deconstructive nature of the exposed binding, as well as the grid on the wrapping, is used to break up the black and white book content and to further emphasize the experimental nature of the design. this is a list to reflect upon – to read from the beginning or to start in the middle, to use the bookmark and set aside, or to store away for a while.

Installation, archive, and flyer

holding, (shift)ing brings invisible, gendered labour to the table — the kind of work that holds everyday life together: care work, mental load, and domestic tasks.

Seven white aprons made of linen and cotton — embroidered with a cyclical poem and printed with childhood drawings — are stitched together to form a large tablecloth. The aprons don’t decorate the table — they carry it. Sewing and embroidery are used as feminist strategies, reclaiming the apron as both symbol and structure.

The accompanying archive preserves traces of the process — textile tests, material remnants, and intermediate stages. What holds everything together often remains unseen.

The flyer, printed on translucent paper, translates these ideas into a graphic space, reflecting visibility, layering, and the tension between fragility and weight.

A concept apparel campaign inspired by the basketball culture of Novi Beograd, one of the world’s densest landscapes of outdoor courts framed by post-socialist architecture. Rooted in concrete and movement, the project explores how environment shapes identity and how the game becomes a reflection of collective strength, style, and resilience.

Proxy is a meeting place. ⛓️‍💥

For our Sunday opening: we ask for your notes, on the meeting places and encounters that have shaped you. We want to know who you are. We’ll gather these in a box, a kind of time capsule. Sign them with your name or anonymously. Mark the notes as public or private.

This Sunday 28 September 15:00–19:00, share your reflections and stay for food by Sankrit Kulmanochawang and Sumin Lee, with drinks on the side.
